Green Grams karhi

Suppose you have invited some guests to your home for dinner. Then you came to know that they like Indian recepies. So do not worry, you can prepare Green grams karhi, which falls under the category of Indian foods. We will give systematic procedure for preparing this recepie.

You will require following ingredients for preparing this vegetarian recepie:

250 grams green grams
250 grams curd
125 grams Besan
One-teaspoon red chillies
One-teaspoon coriander powder
One-teaspoon amchoor
A pinch of asafetida
Ghee for frying
Salt to taste

Steps to prepare Green Grams Karhi:

Put the green grams into the pressure cooker and allow one whistle. Then grind them with the rolling pin finely or you can even squeeze with your hands. Now put ghee in a heavy pan, mix asafetida into the grams, put the ground green grams into it, and roast them until light brown. Now put the well-beaten curd, add besan to it, and chum it vigorously till the mixture is homogeneous. Now add turmeric powder to it and a little of red chillies. Then bring it to boil and add the green grams mixture. Cook on sim flame. Then follow the procedure as detailed in earlier recipes. Serve it hot with rice or chapattis made of gram flour.
