Besan ki karhi

For preparing Besan Ki Karhi, you will need following ingredients:

100 grams besan sieved
Two cups thick curd
Three green chillies, sliced
Two onions, medium sized, chopped finely
One and a half teaspoon cumin seeds
One-teaspoon red chillies
A pinch of Asafoetida
Two-teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste (four tablespoon)
Ghee for frying

Steps for preparing this recepie:

Churn curd, add and blend water. Add besan and blend well. Add turmeric powder and blend. Now, heat the ghee season with asafetida and cumin seeds. Add chilli, turmeric powders, green chillies, onion and fry until brown.

Add curd-besan mixture. Stir in salt. Bring to boil and cook until karhi thickens. Stir continuously and remove from fire. Garnish with coriander leaves, serve hot with rice or chapatis. This Besan ki karhi falls under vegetarian recepie.
